I am 17 years old and would like to become a pro makeup artist but I don’t know what to do after I graduate or anything. Also, does anyone know what the average income is of an artist? Can someone help me?

Do I need a kabuki brush for mineral makeup or can I use a powder brush? And please tell me why and the diffrence it will make.
I use a sable hair kabuki. BLush brush just doesn’t have the density of bristles in it. If you use a kabuki, and swirl the minerals around, it loads the brush up. Tap it, then apply. That way it doesn’t all just fall off the brush and onto your clothes or countertop! You want it on your face!
LA Minerals has a really cute pink kabuki on their website. I have the silver handled one, but I’m gonna get the pink one when I order my kit next week.

I DO NOT want to sign up for 30 or 60 day free trials. Been screwed twice when I tried to cancel and was charged $30 a month for something I NEVER used. I do not want to take a chance of that happening again.

hey friends thank you so much for answering in advance now i try to apply my eye make-up in that style often it turns out ok.But now quite what i want help me please i know some people on this site probably have way more experince with handling the eyeliner and shadows better.Yhe and lay off the smart as* remarks not saying that you guys do but on someother people’s questions people give mean comments so i turst you guys will help me out.Yhea much apearicated ok thanks.!
Look at pictures of the styles that interest you and try to copy them on your face. Practice is the key to good-looking make up jobs. Keep working at it until you’ve achieved what you set out to do!
I have read somewhere that you can take old empty MAC cosmetics containers back to the store and they will give you a new product in eschange for a certain number…like 4 or 5 or something. Is this true? How many items to get a free one? And can you do this at ANY MAC store?
Yes- it’s called Back 2 MAC. You take back 6 "primary" containers (including eyeshadow pots, foundation bottles, pigment jars, lipstick or gloss tubes, etc) - they don’t even have to be empty- and you can select a free product. At counters, pick any lipstick except Viva Glam collection. At stores, pick any lipstick, gloss, or eyeshadow up to $14 excluding Viva Glam. It works at any MAC store or counter- just not outlets.

WOW!!!!! I am so excited- i really really really wanted to chat with Reggie Wells, Oprah’s amazing make-up artist and i am actually going to his make-up demonstration on Friday……but guess what??? I ran into him on my way to a function at Crown Casino in Melbourne!!! He was so lovely and charming and i can only say it was the great Law of Attraction at work that we met!!!
